AFTERSCHOOL PROGRAMS

STEMversity Scholars' Afterschool Programs serve K-8th graders with virtual and in-person options with interactive, hands-on activities. The program can take place during lunch or as after-school enrichment and showcases a wide array of STEM careers. STEM Kits are included.

Scholars will study the fundamentals of engineering and design while building structures to solve real-world problems.

Explorer's Academy

Scholars will learn plant science, seedling, plant structure, how plants grow, and human effects on plants while maintaining a class garden.

Gamer's Academy

Scholars will explore game design, geometry, and physics concepts while
learning about app/game development while testing and marketing their games. Coders’ academy is a prerequisite and students can test out of the prerequisite.

Coder's Academy

Scholars will study all the fundamentals of coding, decoding, and rewriting code for Roblox, Minecraft, Javascript, and higher-level coding classes, to name a
few. Coders will be able to create their own games using their own code.

Scholars will learn about the solar system, astronaut training, satellites,
and learn about Astronaut Mae Jemison while building their own rocket to race
against fellow astronauts.

Meteorology Academy

Scholars will study the phenomenon of weather, weather patterns, tracking weather, identifying severe weather, and building a classroom weather station with the help of meteorologist June Bacon-Bercey.
