About the Event

Nyla Nova STEMversity's "Balancing the Scales of Justice" will celebrate the Life and Accomplishments of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

The activities will focus on the principles of balance using the power of physics.

Take-home activities will be provided!

Family Fun Activities

  • Did you know you can find the center of gravity of an object by using your fingers?
  • Can you balance and lift a glass of water with only wooden sticks?
  • Will you be up for the challenge of balancing different structures by finding the right center point?
