ICYMI: A Day of Impact: 800 STEM Kits, 25 Volunteers, and a Ton of Gratitude

Some days, everything just clicks. This was one of those days.
We’re still buzzing from the amazing energy at Nyla Nova STEMversity® and Nyla Nova Foundation, thanks to a huge boost from the United Way of Central Indiana. With their generous grant, we were able to purchase a whopping 800 STEM kits. That’s not a typo—eight hundred!
But it gets even better: they didn’t just stop at funding. United Way rallied 25 incredible volunteers to help assemble the kits, rolling up their sleeves and getting to work with big hearts and even bigger smiles.
The spirit of community was everywhere. Some volunteers drove in all the way from Muncie just to be part of making a difference. If you’ve ever wondered what dedication looks like, it’s someone making that early morning drive, fueled by nothing but the desire to help kids discover the world of STEM.
We couldn’t be more grateful. Every kit that goes out is a chance for a kid to light up with curiosity, to see themselves as a scientist, an engineer, a builder. And none of this would be possible without the support of United Way and every single volunteer who gave their time and energy.
So, from the bottom of our hearts: thank you. Today was a win for our team, for our volunteers, for the kids, and for the future of STEM in Indiana.
Nyla Nova is taking over—and we’re just getting started.
